High Nutrition Food Diary - January 5, 2009

Green Smoothie
½ cup Almond Milk
1 fresh pear cubed
1TBSP ground flax seeds (Optional)
1 ML DHA Purity (Optional)
1 Cup frozen organic blueberries
4 dates
3 ice cubes
5 oz baby spinach
Blend almond milk, pear, flax seeds, DHA purity in high powered blender until smooth. Add blueberries and blend until smooth, add spinach and blend until smooth.

I tried my hand at two of the Fuhrman recipes. The soup took me about two hours to make because I am a very clumsy cook, but I’ll get better. The juicing of the carrots and celery was time consuming. The bean burgers were very easy. The lunch was delicious. I now have soup that will last a week, plus two extra burgers.
I have ordered a Vitamix 5200 Delux, which will make my cooking adventures much easier.
1 Bean Burger on ½ whole wheat pita with salad greens, tomato and low salt ketchup
Fuhrman’s Anti Cancer Soup 1 cup

Whole wheat pasta with white beans and kale (no oil, no salt)
Trail mix for dessert
