We are thinking about a permanent move to Florida at some point. For now, until our son graduates from college, June 2010, we will maintain a residence in Atlanta so he can return home to his friends on vacations. Another reason is that the real estate market has tanked in Atlanta, like over the country, and we are waiting until the housing prices bounce back a bit before we more. Even then I am not 100% sure I want to live permanently in Florida.

Yep, we drove back yesterday and I returned to a rainstorm that is scheduled to last all week.
why don't you just live in Florida all year round? It seems like a nice place where you've spent the last few months.
